Are we there yet???

This was their first long trip other than to Grammies. It was a 12-hour trip, but they did so well...except for the time that Kenzie cried for an hour and a half straight! Ain't motherhood grand?!

Why Princess Consuela???

Some of you may be wondering why I choose to sign my blogs as "Princess Consuela". Funny story...for a while now, every time Kaedyn yells, Mom, Mom, Mom, Mom, Mom, I tell her that I'm changing my name. She asks me, To what? I tell her, Princess Consuela. I never in my life thought that she was paying any attention to me, like always. But yesterday we were in Wal-Mart, which is where we pretty much live, she is saying, Mom, can I have a ritz? Mom, can I have a drink? Mom, why does that lady have a red dot on her forehead? After the fifteenth "mom" question, I said, Kaedyn, I'm changing my name from mom! What is my name? I could see the little wheels in her head turning and she very carefully and quietly says, Princess Consuela??? I'm so glad that finally something I have said to my child has stuck. I'm not sure it is the most in-depth piece of information she could have chosen, but at least it's something!!! I'm going to post some pictures, but I'm just getting started with this.
